Animalweapon is the electronic project of Raleigh, NC native Patrick Cortes. Launched in the fall of 2010 with the track “Mexican Standoff,” Animalweapon has since evolved into a multimedia, internationalgalactic conglomerate, expanding meteorically not only in the form of recorded and live music, but film, a televised serial drama, action figures, pharmaceuticals, throw pillows, lobbying and advanced robotics. Following several singles, the spring of 2012 saw the release of the first full-length album, Good Luck, which has at time of writing been certified platinum thrice. A prequel trilogy is currently in development, chronicling the hero Patrick Cortes’ fall to the Dark Side and transformation into Animalweapon. All of these things are true.
